Lady Hornets pick up another win

 

Lyndon earned its second North Atlantic Conference win of the season Saturday with a 73-66 victory over the University of Maine at Farmington at Stannard Gymnasium.

Donna Lawson, the NAC’s leading scorer, led the way with a 23-point, nine-rebound and five-steal effort while Stephanie Barclay had 13 points, including eight consecutive points in the final five minutes to seal the win. Ariel McConkey had 12 points off the bench for the winners, Naomi White chipped in 11 and Maisie Sanchez contributed a team-high four assists for the Hornets (6-7, 2-2).

Jillian Ross had 13 points and six rebounds for the Beavers, Emma Morrison had 11 and Holly Oliver 10. Ashley Busque and Kenni Norton had three assists each for Farmington (6-8, 3-2) who turned the ball over 31 times in the game.
