LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The Lyndon Department of Athletics has announced the resignation of Ryan Farley as head baseball coach effective immediately.
Farley has coached the Hornets for the past seven seasons and led Lyndon to an appearance in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament in 2008 and the North Atlantic Conference playoffs in 2010.
“Ryan led our baseball program through a smooth transition, from the NAIA to the NCAA,” said Lyndon Director of Athletics Chris Ummer. “He brought an incredibly high level of enthusiasm to the program along with discipline and sportsmanship. He will be missed.”
Until a suitable replacement for Farley is found, long-time assistant coach Mark Hilton will serve as the program’s interim head coach.
