LSC Experiences New Major

Criminal Justice, the new degree program at LSC, offers the opportunity for advanced study for those looking to serve law enforcement in a multitude of fields.

The program, according to LSC’s website, was installed due to a growing interest from prospective students.

Director of Public Safety at LSC, George Hacking, teaches the Introduction to Criminal Justice class, and has found that the interest from the students in his class is impressive. He believes the program will be a success at the college.

Jamie Robertson and Taylor Cota are two students in Hacking’s class. Both of them were interested in the criminal justice system from an early age, and are excited to have the opportunity to learn more about the system in the new program.

Both Roberston and Cota like the class because it offers a wide scope of the many professional fields within the criminal justice system.
