Event: Panel Discussion for Student Media

Digital Learning: The Future of College Education?
What:
Is digital learning the future of higher education? Are textbooks going the way of the dinosaur? What is digital learning? How does it work? Find out during two free media webinars exclusively for student reporters.
These new digital learning platforms have evolved from beyond the simple .pdfs of traditional textbooks that were common just five years ago. What makes them different?
Research has demonstrated that they improve student grades and cost less than a traditional textbook. Is that true?
Learn why faculty assign them and how students feel they are benefiting. Get the story from people actually using the technology.
There will be opportunity for Q & A for student reporters.
