She was by far the worst teacher I have ever had. Was extremely rude to her students and gave very vague assignments. You need to post to a discussion board as well as talk in class in order to get any kind of participation grade. She has unrealistic expectations for an introductory english class. She kicked her students out of class because we did not do an assignment that she never assigned! Very poor professor - makes Lyndon State look bad for how rude and mean she is to students.
She was very difficult and if you miss more than two classes you pretty much fail. I hated her class, and I don't think she taught much about English or how to format and write a paper. All we did was talk about marketing strategies, which I understand is what you are trying to do when you write a paper but every class was about this. I honestly learned nothing.
Erin Narey is one of the great English teachers I have ever had. She is difficult, yes, but she always gives very clear instructions and you can get a great grade if you work for it. She is really great at involving students in the lesson. I learned so much about writing from her!
Took her my freshman year. Did not enjoy her class. The students made the class fun. She seemed to be in no mood to teach. difficult grader and really doesn't know how to sit, especially on top of tables (you'll see what I mean if you take her class, I'm sure). Also not very accommodating. friendly of just a pain to have to take a class with. |
