Benefits include competitive pay, paid vacation and holidays, employer sponsored health/dental insurance and retirement savings plans.Office Accounting AssistantExperience: Accounts Payable, 2 years (Preferred)Skills:- Excellent customer service skills- Ability to process and follow-up on tasks- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail- Data entry skills with a aptitude for numbers- Good organization skills- Ability to work alone- Microsoft Office- Outlook- Sage Software (plus)General Responsibilities:- Answering incoming telephone calls and forward to correct person- Sort and distribute mail- Compile, process, and maintain accounts payable- Issue purchase orders associated with various work orders and enter into accounting system- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment- Verify approval on all invoices that do not match or are missing receiving documents with project managers- Verify vendor accounts by completing reconciliation of monthly statements- Document filing and copying- Maintains insurance documentation for all vendors and verify they are current- M-files (electronic filing system) all invoices and paperwork- Post accounts receivable payments and process daily deposit- Special projects as assignedSchedule: Full-time Monday to Friday 7-3:30 in person (1/2-hour lunch)Wage: Commensurate with experience
